About:Hangzhou Travel

Hangzhou 1 day

Hi! I have a day in Hangzhou in September. I'll arrive from Shanghai at 10.00 aprox. and I have booked a room at WestLake Youth Hostel, at the south side of the lake. Do I have time, in one day, to visit West Lake and Lingyin Temple, for example? And after this, go to the city to dinner and go back to the hostel?

Generally speaking, time is so tight and I think it costs about one day and a half.
If you plan to stay overnight in HZ, it may be enough. You can head for the Lingyin Temple first and then travel around the lake. Then go to have dinner. After that you can go back to the West Lake area to enjoy the night scenery.
