About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

How do i do this? I am flying w/ China Eastern.

Hi, I am eligible for a transit visa. i read i have to apply in advance for the Shanghai airport.

So you are not qualified for 72 hours free transit? If so, you need to submit your passport, filled application form, a passport photo and your connecting air tickets to the Chinese consulate in your area to apply for the G type in advance.
