best time to tour ngong ping 360 in hk

Question

1) Is midday for the cable car ride a good time to arrive on Saturday?--we hear it may be crowded in the morning.  2) f we choose not to take the designated walking tour, are there other places we can walk to enjoy the mountain views before our return by the cable car? Thanks very much!

1. Yes, I agree. Midday shall be better than the morning. Though, you still need to line up for a while!2. You can just walk on your own to enjoy the scenery on the mountain and the Giant Buddha cannot be missed!
