Is Leng Oh (or Dragon Lake) in Chaozhou?

My Teochew parents migrated to Singapore in the 1920s. They mentioned that they were from "Leng Oh" (in Teochew) which translate to "Dragon Lake". Do you know if Leng Oh (or Dragon Lake) is in Chaozhou district? Thanks.

Based on the information I know, truly, there is an old village called Longhu Village (Dragon Lake Village) in Longhu Town, Chao'an District, Chaozhou city. But I am not sure whether the one I know is your parents' home town or not.

As I know, the public buses are not very frequent, so if you plan to go, it is suggested to hire a local car to take you to reach directly.

Thank you, Judy. In fact I went there as a child way back in 1948 and returned to Singapore in 1950. I thought of paying a visit. I remember it was more of a town with a wall and an arch gateway at its entrance. It had a main street running through with buildings on both sides. My home was located right inside an alley which was accessible through the entrance of one building.
