About:Dali Attractions

Wasa (and Xiao Putuo Dao) and Gantong Si or Zhonge Si around Dali

If I'm staying in (old town) DL Gucheng:
What is the best way to visit Wase and possibly Xiao Putuo Dao?
Is there a ferry service running from (old town) DL Gucheng to Wase?
What is more beautiful: Zhonge Si or Gantong Si?
How long and difficult are the walks to these temples?

To Xiaoputuo Dao, the best method is to take a ferry from the bank of Erhai to reach that island. The ferries cannot be taken from the old town.

For my preference, the Gantong Si is much suggested. The scenery is beautiful, the transportation is easy and the climbing is not difficult.
