Why is Confucianism important to the people in China ?

As we all know, China is a country of courtesy and Chinese people attach great importance to the morality. The Confuciansim mainly advocate kindness, righteousness, rituals, knowledge, credit, forgiveness, royalty and others, so it is important to Chinese people.
