About:Guangzhou Travel Guide

Help! I need directions around HK and Guangzhou.

Hi, I plan to visit HK Electronics fair (Apr 13-16) and Canton fair and Guangdong (Apr 17-20). My questions are:
1. Initially I will stay near the HK Convention center. Do you advise me to commute to Guangdong daily or get another hotel near Guangdong Convention Center?

2. What are the best, easiest and cheapest ways for me to get from HK Convention Center to Guangdong Convention Center? This is my first visit to China. Have been to HK before.

Since you will spend about three days in Guangzhou, so it is suggested to find a hotel in GZ during your staying. The hotel's price will be much cheaper in GZ, I think.

From the Fenwick St Wan Chai, near the HK Convention Center, you can find the cross-border buses to reach GZ Hotel. Upon reaching GZ Hotel, you can walk to the Haizhu Square to take the local subway line 2 to reach Changgang Station and then change to line 8 to reach Pazhou Station. Get out of the station, you can find the Guangdong Convention Center.
