Do I need a Chinese visa when I enter Shenzhen via HK?

I am a Malaysian passport holder. I plan to visit HK in June for 2 days and Shenzhen for 3 days. As I heard, I can apply a Shenzhen special zone type in HK before I enter Shenzhen? How much should I pay for this? How fast can I get it done?

Wong, you actually apply for the five-day special zone type at the border. It costs around CNY 168 for a person. If everything is smooth, you can get it in a few minutes.
