bus back to zhengzhou from shaolin

Question

I read a lot about getting to Shaolin from ZZ but what about the reverse?  i am going in May and will start my journey from Luoyang, thus i will need to figure out how to get back to ZZ from Shaolin.  Can anyone advise me how to get back by bus? how much? and how long will it take?

Outside the gate of the temple, you can find direct bus for ZZ, but I am not clear about the bus fare. I transfer to the Dengfeng General Bus Station in Dengfeng City and then take a bus going back to ZZ. From the temple, I took the public bus line 8 to reach Dengfeng Xizhan (Dengfeng West Bus Station) and then take a taxi to reach general bus station, where you can find frequent buses to ZZ.
