About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Is there a 72hr visa-free transit for Hangzhou?

I am a French citizen traveling through Asia. I will be flying from Vietnam to Hangzhou, then depart Hangzhou to Hong Kong. Am I eligible for the 72hr Free Transit? If so, can I fly into Hangzhou or Shanghai?

NO, Shangzhou does not introduce this free transit policy. But if you make this free transit in Shanghai, you are not allowed to visit Hangzhou as well. So, you have to apply for a Chinese visa in advance.
