Shanghai to Hangzhou Four Seasons West Lake Hotel

From Marriott City Centre Hotel Shanghai, you can walk to People's Square metro station to take subway line 2 to Hongqiao Railway Station, where there are many high-speed trains to Hangzhou.

If you arrive at Hangzhou Railway Station, take bus no. 7 to Botanical Garden (Yuquan) stop and walk to your hotel. If you arrive at Hangzhou East Station, walk to East Train Station West stop to take bus no. 28 to Botanical Garden stop and then walk there. And this hotel is a perfect choice to view the nice scenery of the West Lake! You won't be disappointed!

Thanks for your help! Do you know of any other nice places around this lake to visit for a day or two? My girlfriend wants to visit the Intercontinental One Thousand Island Lake Resort in Chun'an but would it be difficult to reach from our hotel in West Lake?

I have four nights after my check-out from four seasons to travel around a bit before having to return to Shanghai so any help on places to visit would be greatly appreciated!

Around the lake, the attractions include Broken Bridge, White Dam (Bai Di), Su Dam (Su Di), Leifeng Pagoda and Zhejiang Museum.

From your hotel, you can take a taxi to Hangzhou West Bus Station, where there are direct buses to the One Thousand Island Lake and the resort is located there. And the bus duration from Hangzhou to the island is around 2h.

After visiting the island, you can go to Yellow Mountain to have fun. Afterwards, go back to Shanghai!
