The founder this dynasty was named Zhou Wu Wang. In 1045 B.C., an aristocrat named Wu Wang led a rebellion against the Shang. After defeating the Shang, Wu began a dynasty called the Zhou (JOH).

When you said, "(JOH)" did you mean that that is how you pronounce it? If so thanks because I was saying "zoo." :)

Yes, in Chinese we pronounce it as Zhou, which is similar with Joh in English.
