Will I get promoted this year? I am born October 30 , 1973 .

i am friendly, hard worker / knows more than all / helpful to other but I still didn't get promoted for over 10 yrs while new workers get promoted in few years . Talked to my supervisor who doesnt work here with me in another state / she said even u work hard doesn't mean u get promoted. My frenz were stunned when they heard that. I guess I'm unlucky sign / maybe shouldn't work more that my work level is .
