About:Internet in China

I wand to know the best network in china? i am from India

I am from India and i am new to china, I am carring Blackburry mobile and apple Ipad i want to know which network will be best for Mobile and for the Internet

What does your Blackberry support, CDMA, GSM or WCDMA? Does your ipad support wifi only?

Hey Dhanya,

There are 3 networks in China: China Telecom, China Unicom and China Mobile.

Paid WiFi network:

1- Expensive option --> You can pay for WiFi in the hotel, although it's a bit pricey most times and can only be accessed while in the premises.

2- Best option --> WiFi not only in the hotel, but also in the market/street/museum...

ChinaNet WiFi from China Telecom, as many people have written, is pretty reliable and what matters most, fast! You can check also if Unicom/Mobile carry something similar, they might...

Free WiFi's:

They exist, they are not a myth - but the connectivity goes on/off.... you may get lucky though and find a good one...
