About:Zhou Dynasty

what are the most important wars in Zhou dynasty history

Is there a very important war about the Zhou dynasty. I have to write a essay about it so I was wondering if there was a war I really need to know about in my essay.

Battle of Mu (Muye) is perhaps the most important war. Emperor Wu defeated Emperor Dixin (the ruler of the Shang Dynasty) during this battle. Dixin burnt himself to death after this battle. Emperor Wu continued to defeat other tribes and finally established Zhou Dynasty.
