About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

From London Heathrow transit Beijing and Shanghai to Hong Kong

I hold a British National ( overseas ) passport, I am transitting Beijing and Shanghai to Hong Kong ( not leaving the transit airports). Am I entitled to this 72 hours visa free period?Thank you.

No, 72 hr free transit is for a transit via one city only. But visa is not required too if your whole stopover in China is less than 24 hours (including stopovers in Beijing and Shanghai, as well as the domestic flight).
