When is the typhoon season in Hong Kong?

It would be helpful to know generally when typhoons arrive so we don't plan a trip during that season.
I am going to be in HK April 25 to May 1, and I hope it will be nice!! :)

Hi, the typhoon season in HK is from late May till mid Sep. Therefore, your plan is fine! However, there may be shower or lightly rainy days during that time, so you'd better pay attention to the weather forecast in advance!
