72 hours visa for a french national

I will be flying from manila to Guangzhou via Hong Kong is it possible to stay in for 48 hours without a visa in Guangzhou , my return light will be via Hong Kong again Thanks

I am afraid not if both trips have stopover in Hong Kong. You are advised to apply for a Chinese transit G visa in advance.
