Business Trip to China if passport expires in 5 months?

Hi,I have an invitation for a business trip to Shanghai for an event ,organized by the association I work for.Our partners coorganize there a conference which I need to attend. My passport expires in 5 months and I have no time to renew it as I need to be in China in 15 days. Do you think that would be a problem?

Hi, you are advised to contact Chinese embassy directly for this. Generally, passport should be valid for at least 6 months for visa application.
