About:China Civil Aviation - Regulations & Security Check

Can a doctor letter from own country be accepted to board/check in for pregnant woman?

My pregnancy will be reach 33 weeks on board back home to Malaysia from Guangzhou,China.Will AirAsia at Baiyun Airport,will accept Malaysian doctor letter to verify my fitness to travel,weeks of gestation n date of delivery?All in English writing.Not know they can accept the language.Need help to relieve my fear of being blocked from boarding from China back home to my country.

I am not sure if AirAsia has the same requirements as Chinese airlines. If your pregnancy is less than 32 weeks, you needn't provide any proof from the hospital. If your pregnancy is between 32 and 36 weeks, you need a proof from a municipal hospital. If your pregnancy is more than 36 weeks, you are not allowed to take the plan.

I suggest you call the Airasia and confirm what kind of proof they ask for.
