Visa to presents results at a conference in Beijing

I'm a Colombian studying in USA (F1), I'm at London for 4 weeks (study related trip). I have won a competition and got invited to a conference to present my results at Beijing. I won't have time to go back to the US and apply from there, I need to travel from London to China, can I apply in London ? Which type do I need ?

I am afraid you can not apply in London if you are a temperary visitor there. Anyway, you can try to contact the CVASC in London via Tel:+44(0)20 7206 0589 if they accept your application or not.
