About:Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan

Asked by Bobur Rustamov

I've couple of questions. I've been working in China for 2 years in Tangshan city. I've got Z and residence permit. My contract ends in June. So I'm going to Uzbekistan in my vacation. But according to a law of the government, I must apply for a new passport. If I get the new passport, my old Z and residence permit will be removed. In this case, what should I do? I asked my chief and friends in China, they said that, if I get a new passport, I can't come to China. Because in new passport there won't be any visa and residence permit. And they can't send a new Z and residence permit. Because my residence permit is available till August. So what should I do? Please consult to me. I'll wait for your reply.
Thank you

Hi, you can bring both your old passport and new passport for entry. After entry, you need to apply for transfer of your work Z and residence permit to your new passport.
