About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

I'm going to fly to Guangzhou from Italy and then to Hainan.

Hello,
I know that in Hainan I don't need the visa. It is possible to arrive from Guangzhou without one also (or 72 hours free transit) or I have to arrive fron Hong Kong and Singapore only?

Thanks

Hi, no visa is required if you will stay in Guangzhou for less than 24 hours. Otherwise, you have to apply for a Chinese visa for this visit.
