About:Leshan Giant Buddha

Hi, Is there a direct bus/train from Chengdu airport to Giant budda in Leshan??

I will be 2 days in CD.
On the 1st day I would like to go to Leshan to see giant budda and then back to CD.
On the 2nd day I would like to see pandas in panda breediing centre.

Is it possible or too much trouble?

From the airport, there is no bus to reach the Gaint Buddha directly, but there is direct to reach LS Central Bus Station on West Baiyang Road and it is about 11km from the Gaint Buddha Scenic Spot. The buses are at 10:40, 12:30, 13:50, 15:30, 16:40, 18:30. From the central bus station, you can take the local public bus line 3 to reach Da Fo Si Station and get off the bus.

Your plan is very good and the time is enough and will not trouble a lot. BTW, from the Chengdu city proper, it is suggested to take a taxi to reach the breeding center directly, because the public transportation transfer is complex for foreigners.
