Can I bring power bank into Macau?

Sincered evening, I will be traveling to macau in late march. I would like to ask that can I bring my 20000mAh Power Bank into the country via the custom? As I heard that the china customs had just changed their rules and regulations in the early 2014 and they strictly stress on power banks.

I assume that you fly to Macau, right? What is the standard voltage of your power bank? According to the rule, if the total WH of your power bank is less than 100 WH, you can bring it on board. Please remember that you can't put it in your checked luggage. If it is between 100 and 160 WH, you should be approved by your airline. If it is more than 160 WH, then you can't bring it on board.

How to calculate WH of your power bank? Here is the formula: WH = 20000 X standard voltage.

If you are still worried, then you'd better call the airline to confirm whether you can take it with you.

Is a power bank a battery charger for phones and tablets? I have a small one, about the size of a deck of cards. It can re charge my cell phone or tablet about three times. Am I allowed to take that with me?
