I want to know more about the Tang Dynasty religion and why they worship boddha

I'm doing this thing in my history class and I have to right a paper about this and I can't ask my group be cause my teacher broke us up so I'm ask y'all guys on the internet so please help any info would be nice any thing at all about the Tang Dynasty religion please help
