Is my package sent?My tracking number is EE992343627CN

I've been waiting for my package for a while now, and I asked my seller for a tracking number. I received it last week but when I tried tracking it on the ems website, the site keeps saying "No tracking information for the shipment, or overdue tracking." I've read that EMS sometimes does this.

My question is: Since I've received a tracking number, does that mean my package is already sent and on the way? Because tracking numbers are only received once a package is registered at the office, right?

Thank you for your help.

When you receive your tracking number, it means that the EMS already collected your parcel. It takes time for them to send your package to you. If the tracking number was given to you a bit while ago, I am afraid that it's a fake one. You should confirm with the seller. If he/she doesn't respond to you, you are probably scammed.
