About:Visa Policy of China

Does Maldivian need visa to go china?

I m Chinese, one of my Maldivian friends would like to go china for traveling. If yes, how can he apply it? Do I need write invitation letter? And does he need to go to sir lanca to apply? Or he can send documents to embassy in Sri lanca? Thank you so much!

Hi, your friends need to apply for tourist L from Chinese embassy in Sri Lanka. And you can provide them an invitation letter for application addressed to the embassy. But if they have round way ticket and hotel booking, invitation letter can be replaced.

He can submit application to the embassy in person or entrust someone else or a travel agency to handle it on his behalf. Generally, the processing itself takes about 4 working days from the embassy.
