What documents need to apply china visa for Malaysian from Myanmar?

Dear Sir, I would like to know what documents do we need to apply L type for Malaysian. He is working in Myanmar and now he would like to visit PRC during holidays. Could you please reply my questions? Appreciated in advance for your kind reply. Thanks and Best Regards,

He can submit his application to Chinese embassy in Myanmar directly. Apart from his passport, completed application form, a recent passport photo, booked hotel and round-trip air tickets (or invitation letter), he should also provide the resident permit for employment in Myanmar.
