I am currently dating a girl from Taiwan but being an outsider I am still trying to learn and respect the culture.

It is her birthday in the next few weeks. What are the traditions associated with birthdays? What is the tradition regarding cards or gifts?

Flowers, cards, birthday cake and a propriate gift should be prepared. If possible, take her to have a romantic dinner together.
