About:Huangshan Travel

Hangzhou - Huangshan City - Yellow Mountain- Hangzhou

My plan is take bus from Hangzhou to Tunxi, stay a night .Next day up to Mt.HS, stay a night and come down next day. Please let me know:

1)Which hotel is clean and reasonable in Tunxi? 2)which cable car station is best to go up the Mt 3) which hotel is clean/reasonable in Mt.HS that is also near famous sun rise? 4) which cable car station to come down to Tangkou? then back to Hangzhou.

Any suggestion to my itinerary? TQ

1. I know there is a Motel 168 at No. 41, West Binjiang Road, Tunxi. Besides, there are several branches of Seven Days Inn there. They are all budget accommodations!
2. I suggest you take Yungu Cable Car or Yuping Cable Car onto the mountain!!
3. Yupinglou Hotel is highly recommended to you. It shall be one of the best sites to see the sunrise.
4. To go to Tangkou directly (near the main entrance of the scenic area), you can take Yungu Cable Car down!

As I know, the guiding marks in the mountain scenic area are in Chinese and English versions, so you can easily have a DIY tour.

Your plan is good enough. I still have a suggestion: if you intend to the Yellow Mountain directly from Hangzhou, it is feasible. At the Hangzhou West Bus Station, there are direct buses to HS scenic area~~
