About:China Private Visit Visa

My fiance wants to come to China

My fiance wants to come to China to be with me. I have Canadian citizenship and currently have a Z visa and hold a temporary resident card until 02/2015.

My fiance is Mexican and carries a Mexican passport, he is currently in Mexico, can he come here under an S? If not, what type should he apply for and can he stay with me until 02/2014. Thank you

If you are not married, she can only apply for a tourist L for short visit. So, she can try to apply for double entry L if she wants to stay longer in China.

F is for business visit, but L can be issued to visit friend. Generally, it will be issued with 30 days each entry. So, 60 days if she apply for a double entry. She can also extend it while in China.
