Born 31/03/72, been looking for love since I was 21, will it happen this year?

After a split in a relationship I decided to improve myself as a male in order to find love and not bring any problems into a relationship. 12-13 years later I found a girl born 31/3/88, and fell in love with her, and she began to fall for me, and had just finished with her boyfriend. At this point I reached a level of spiritual enlightenment, and she was due to come over to see me for the night, but her brother, who had been my tai-chi teacher, turned her against me. Since then she has had 6 failed relationships, despite her desire to be in a long-lasting relationship. And all through that time she has denied she ever loved me, so it seems that me and her will never work. I'm quite intelligent, and good looking, in my younger days I never had a problem getting girlfriends. Fortunately I have still kept my looks and most people I know think I look ten years younger than I am, and I have still kept my youthful outlook on life, whilst maintaining a good level of maturity. I've always been very well liked, and making someone happy is what makes me happy. But it seems that I can't find a girl who can match my dedication to love on an equal manner. It seems that the feminine can't seem to appreciate what I have done in regards to removing negative aspects of my masculinity. Now I know that the rat and the dragon are regarded as very compatible, but I have my doubts, I feel a monkey would be more suited. I would like to hear your thoughts on this, and do you think my hard work will be rewarded this year? Many thanks.
