Irish passport holder in NI

Hi! I have an Irish passport but I live in Northern Ireland. Can I apply through the embassy in Dublin? Can a family member pick it up if so? And if it's left on a Monday, would it be ready by Friday?

Thanks!

Hi, you can apply in Dublin and it is ok to ask your family member to pick it up. The consular office is open for application from Monday through Thursday, and the regular processing takes 4 working days. That is to say, you can get it back on Thurday if you lodge your application on Monday.
