In Sichuan Opera, there are performances that adapting the story of three kingdoms period, and role of Zhuge Liang take dominant part. Why ? and which condition that usually is taken to be a story of Sichuan Opera?Thank you.

In fact, there are many other stories about other heroes during the Three Kingdoms Period. Zhang Fei and Guan Yu frequently appear in the Sichuan Opera too. Zhuge Liang is the most important person to Liu Bei and his Shu Kingdom. Without Zhuge Liang, Liu Bei couldn't combat with Caocao and build the Shu Kingdom. And Zhuge Liang contributed his whole life for the Shu Kingdom.
