Bus from Hailin city to Xuexiang ( China's snow town / Shuengfeng)

I've never taken the direct bus from Hailin to Xueliang. During my travel there in 2011, when I arrived at Hailin, I took a bus at local bus station to Changting (长汀), many buses being scheduled for the trip. Upon arriving at Changting, I transfer to another bus to Xuexiang and I remember the buses are scheduled at 06:30 and 13:30, taking around 3h, but forget the timetable for the back journey.

Oh, also there are many private cars or taxis from Hailin to Changding. It costs CNY20 per person. This shall be more convenient than buses.

-Did you go to Hailin from Harbin? so, what time is the first bus from Harbin to Hailin?

- Did you book the room in Xuexiang in advance and how did you do that?

- Can you speak Chinese? I can't so I need to prepare carefully

Yes, we did get to Hailin from HRB, but we took the train leaving HRB Train Station aorund 08:30.

We didn't book the accommodation in Xuexiang in advance. And the only advantage is that my nephew speaks a little Chinese. He negotiated with a local farmer and we stayed in the farmer's house at last. Of course, we paid some. Actually, local people are very friendly and you can just check in a hostel or in a famer's house upon arrival. It is not that hard. Don't worry!

As I know, you can take coach from Chanting Bus Station and get to Snow Town (Xuexiang) directly. I remember that the bus schedules are 06:30 and 13:30. It takes around 3 hours on the way.
