About:Chinese Embassy in Pakistan

do i need a transit visa both ways(coming and going)?

Dear Sir/Mad
I am an American citizen as well as Pakistani Passport holder.I am planning a trip to Japan with PIA.PIA stops over at Beijing. Regards. AMIN

Well, it doesn't matter if you transit less than 24 hours and hold Pakistani passport. If you transit more than 24 hours but less than 72 hours, you can use your American passport to avoid applying for transit visa.
