Tian Tan Buddha Statue in HK

Hello,
I'd like to visit the Tian Tan Buddha Statue and am wondering if it is possible to go there by subway. How long does'it take to get there from the Central station?

Thank you

The Tian Tan Buddha cannot be reached directly by local subway.
From Central Station, you need to walk to the HK Station where you can find the Tung Chung Line to reach Tung Chung Station. From this station, you can take the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car to reach Ngong Ping Town. Then you can easily walk to the see the Tian Tan Buddha.
The MTR takes around half an hour and the Ngong Ping 360 takes about 20 to 30 minutes.
