There is no specific answer for your question. The Great Wall was first built in the Qin Dynasty and then extended by later dynasties. Every time the wall was extended, many people died. There is no historical record that recorded the total number of people who died for buidling the Great Wall.

Thank you for the answer! Sorry, I didn't know that there wasn't a specific answer, but I found put that around 4-6 million people died, and that even children had to sometimes help build, but mostly soldiers built it. There was three major groups: the soldiers, normal everyday men, and slaves. Sorry for the random facts, I am very random. :) From Mel.

Oh, that's cool. I didn't know the wall was built after Qin Shi Huang's time. That's one thing I've learnt. Thank you!

The great wall was built after his time. After that, armies were placed along the walls to defend themselves if any people attempted I think.
