About:Four Pillars of Destiny (Bazi)

Wedding date and Lunar calendar

Hi, I am having trouble trying to figure out a auspicious wedding date.
I have narrowed down the four pillars for both my partner and I and I have a list of lunar dates that read like this....
EG: 07/03(lunar06/07)Thurs- against the zodiac snake.

I do not understand what the second lot of numbers mean next to the word Lunar????? and what process do I need to do now to figure out what dates are the best to marry in 2014....
It has been doing my head in for days and I just cant seem to make sense of this all.
Please help me!

Thanks Lee

Chinese people usually rely on the Yellow Book Calendar to choose auspicious dates. You can figure out all auspicious dates for marriage with the help of the book. Then you should omit the dates that are not compatbile with your zodiac signs. Lastly, choose an auspicious date of the rest auspicious dates.

Perhaps, you can provide birth dates of you both and I can help you find some auspicious dates for you. Please decide which month you are going to get married first.

Hi Wong, Thanks for your reply! After trying to figure out the most auspicious date on my own I read that the Lunar dates to avoid in 2014 are Lunar 3,6 and 7 so that in Australia is the months July, April and August so I therefore persumed that the only months left before Christmas to choose from was September and October? I would like to marry anytime from July to October. Is what I read true that those lunar months are to be avoided in 2014? if so then I will stick to September and October and the months of choice and if its not the case then I am flexible so anytime from July to October. My partners dob is 19th May 1974 and my dob is 17 July 1978.. I look forward to your reply.

Lhonan, I didn't know Lunar months 3, 6 and 7 are not ok for marriage. When you choose your date, you should take many factors into consideration, weather conditions for example. It shouldn't be too cold or hot. So you can choose your month and then I might help you find some auspicious dates. Please do not tell me July, September or October are all ok. There are two many auspicious dates and I can't list all of them.

Hi Wong, if I had a choice I think maybe October as the weather is not too hot here in Australia at this time, unless you pick me a day that you think is the best! It's very cold during months June July August September October the weather starts to pick up or unless I wit till next year February?

Oct. 6, 14, 23 and 28 are auspicious dates. These dates are not against your zodiac signs(tiger and horse).

Hi Wong,

Thanks for helping me with the dates! I was wondering though (and sorry to be a pain..)
Is October the 18th any good? or is that against our signs?

Oct. 18 is not an auspicious date because the Yellow Calendar says "marriage should be avoided".
