About:Ocean Park

How to go Ocean Park & Disneyland from Yau Ma Tei station?

We will be bringing our 3 yo girl to the Park & Disneyland in March. We are staying at M1 Hotel, nearest station is Yau Ma Tei station.

If we were to take public transport, how long and how much will it take & cost to reach the above 2 places?

Would it be faster to take a cab? Any idea how much would it cost for the cab fares?

To Ocean Park, you are advised to take Tsuen Wan MTR line at Yau Ma Tei station to Admiralty, where transfer to bus no. 629 to the park directly then! It takes 40-45min and costs 21.4HKD per adult.

To Disneyland, you should make full use of local MTR. Take Tsuen Wan line at Yau Ma Tei to Lai King Station, where transfer to Tung Chung line to Sunny Bay. There you can easily transfer to Disneyland Resort line to reach there. The whole journey takes around 40min and it costs 18.3HKD per adult!

For the public transportation, your three-year-old kid an get 50% discount by the way!

Especially to the Ocean Park, cab may be faster, but I am not clear about the cab charge to the two attractions. Sorry for this! Though, I wanna remind you that the cab in HK generally charges high!
