can you recommend the foods that I would like to die for in Shanghai?

Where's the place serve the best fine dining in SH, ive planned to go to revolving oriental peartl tower, is it okay?

Hi, upon arriving in SH, you cannot miss the local Nanxiang Steamed Stuffed Bun (南翔小笼包) , Crab-Yellow Pastry(蟹壳黄) and Chop Rice Cake (排骨年糕). You can easily find these food at local famous & old restaurants.

Yeah, you made a good choice. It will be very pleasant to have dinner at the revolving restaurant at the Oriental Pearl Tower.

Hello Winter, thx for your reply. Which restaurant nearby my place (I stay in salvo Hotel). How Can i make booking for oriental pearl resto? And which place serve the best Xiao long Bao? i heard that in Yu Yuan garden do, ya?

Near your hotel, there is a good resto named Yan Yun Lou (燕云楼), where you may find delicious snacks or food as I mentioned above. It has several branches and the nearest one is within 650m away, at no. 100, South Yunnan Road (near East End of Ninghai Road).

I heard the revolving resto can be resvered by calling. You may have a try by dialing 021-58791888. For more infor, you can find at the official website of the tower.

Yes, perfect Xiao Long Bao can be found at Yuyun Garden and it is right the 南翔小笼包 as I mentioned. Good luck!

Where to eat the foods that you mentioned before? Where to eat xiao long bao? I read that the one in Yu yuan Garden serves the best. Is it right?

Anyway I live in Salvo Hotel. And going to Nanjing Road now.

I have anwered most part of your questions.

The number above is the hotline of the tower, so you may try to dial for any reservation.

If you wanna take a DIY one day tour, I suggest you roam around the Bund and Nanjing Road in the morning. Then you can go to Yu Yuan garden, where you can taste the Nanxiang Xiao Long Bao and have lunch. After that, the Xin Tian Di and Tian Zi Fang are worth it.
