Ticket for April from Shanghai to Beijing

We would like to book 2 second class tickets on April 26 on the G18. Can we book them online straightaway, so that we have a confirmation before we leave for China? Will the e-tickets be emailed to us?

Yes, you can certainly book the train tickets online directly. However, the trains in China have no e-tickets as airplane. If you book the tickets through an agency, they will send that to a place, where you are going to stay in China or you can just go to the train station to collect your tickets with your passport.
