About:Jiuzhaigou Travel Guide

Best time to go Huang rong

Hi. I am thinking of visiting Huang Rong and Jiuzhaigou in mid April. But I heard the water level for the lake will be low... Does that happen all the time?
Alternatively I can go in June/July. Or is that a better time to go there?

I am wondering whether you are referring to Huang Long scenic area? Well then, the best travel time shall be Sep. to Oct. in a year.

You are right that the water level will be low at JZG in April and situation will be better in June or July. However, there will be some rainy days in the two months, so you'd better pay attention to the weather forecast in advance.
