About:Chinese Embassy in Brunei

Can I still travel with a brunei passport which will be expire in less than 6 months?

I am planning to go china for a few days to attend my friend's wedding. I know a bruneian passport need not require visa for stay less than 15 days, but my passport will be expire in less than half a year, can I still travel into china?

Yes, you can show your return ticket to prove that you will leave far before it expires.
