What is the best way to travel from Shiyan in Hubei province to Xian in Shaanxi province.

Personally, it is best to travel by train and it takes 6.5- 7 hours. You are suggested to book the ticket in advance for there are only two trains in operation.1

I personally like riding the bus at the long distance bus station in SY whenever I go to Xian because the seats are softer and you can recline them reasonably. However, they are almost three times expensive (~130RMB) compared to a train hard seat (~55-65RMB).0
