Hi..am yosh..am planning to come in Beijing for university..wanted to know if the environment is a good and safe one. Thanks

BJ is a safe city, so it is no need to worry about the security.
For the environment, to be honest, the air pollution in these years is very serious and haze always occur in winter and early Spring. So you may need to watch out for the haze.
