Confused about ticket booking system

I'm a bit confused about ticket booking system.
I try to check availibitity of hard sleeper ticket of no.9064 from Changsha to Jishou on 16-Mar-14,but there is no more ticket (avaibility = 0).
But when I search station from Shenzhen west, the first station of no.9064, to Jishou. There still have 66 tickets for hard sleeper.

I wondered that why I can't book ticket from Changsha, although it's still have ticket.

Because the train departs from Shenzhen, so the railway system will keep most of the tickets for the starting station, and allocate few to the other stations. It's always easier to buy a ticket from the starting station than an intermediate station.

Is there another way I can book hard sleeper ticket of this from Changsha to Jishou in advance?

I don't wanna book it on my travel date, I'm afraid it will be sold out first.

The tickets distribution is different, maybe there is no distribution for Changsha section. Or, it has been sold out. You can consider to change to another one.
