About:China Visa

Can I get a tourist visa now or does it need to be within six months of the date of travel?

I hold a USA passport and have a trip ticketed in October 2014.

Hi, the CVASC and Chinese embassies suggest that the applicants should apply one month in advance before they go. The application shouldn't be submitted no earlier than 3 months before they set off.
