You can fly to Chengdu and Chongqing and then connect train or plane to Changsha.0

It is easy to book a Chinese flight once you are in China if you choose. I enjoy the city of Shanghai and on one trip decided to check out Changsha. Many major airports in China will fly into Changsha daily.0
